ABOUT US?

The Proletarian Communist Organisation of Lusitania (EKPL) is the real and authentic voice of the communist workers movement in Lusitania. As a political faction of the international Communist movement in the world, the EKPL was formed in 17th October 2010 in the lusitanian town of Viseu. As a Communist Revolutionary pre-party organization in Lusitania, we uphold Marxism-Leninism-MaoTseTung Thought as our guiding ideology. We have been in the present form of our organization since October 2010 when the first congress of the EKPL constituted officially the Erguenixun Kumaniek Pruletordi Leukitanea as the leading body of our lusitanian communist movement. After the creation of the EKPL with its National Programme, we have endeavored to save the proletarian ideology in the present context of gradual attacks on and growing illusions about it. We also have been in contact with other communist parties and organizations in Lusitania and Portugal.

During the course of whole of the last decade, we have shifted our thrust to the working class which we find to be very necessary for all the authentic Communist Revolutionaries of Lusitania. We uphold that today the forces of the Lusitanian Revolution are not organized yet under an All-Lusitanian Lands Communist Party and with the communist movement existing in the form of various pre-party organizations or groups, the task of forming an All-Lusitanian Lands Communist Party is the central task before Lusitanian Communist Revolutionaries today,under the leadership of EKPL.

We uphold Marxism-Leninism-Mao thought as our guiding ideology. We uphold that in Lusitania the main mode of exploitation is capitalist and neocolonialism (within the imperialist framework; not being totallly feudal and colonial any longer); the stage of revolution is Socialist (rather than social-democratic or neo-democratic liberalist); the path of Lusitanian Revolution is workers´ revolutionary insurrection (and not people’s protracted war). On mass front, we are presently working in a few cantons and districts of Lusitania with our particular thrust among workers.
